Rotary Screen Squeegee Type RS

RKS Rotary Screen Squeegees Type RS are engineered to deliver exceptional flexibility while maintaining precise structural stability. As a result, the blade consistently holds critical printing parameters such as print angle, parallel alignment, and pressure.

Unlike conventional blades, the RS type does not deform during operation and does not develop memory after use. Consequently, printers achieve stable, repeatable results throughout long production runs.

RKS Squeegee RS -with large curve-

When compared directly to standard blades, the RKS RS / RS WP enables print speed increases of up to 15% — without sacrificing print quality.

Because of the inseparable bond between the carrier and the elastic print edge, the blade maintains consistent performance over extended print cycles. This insoluble bond ensures durability, reliability, and long-term dimensional stability.

In addition to speed advantages, the RKS RS blade offers significant durability benefits. Unlike traditional steel blades with applied polyurethane edges, the RS blade features a highly resistant Vulkollan® print edge permanently bonded to a premium glass fibre carrier.

Moreover, the blade can be reground. Therefore, printers can dramatically extend blade lifetime while reducing replacement costs.

At the same time, cooperation between the RS blade and the rotary screen reduces screen wear. As a result, overall screen life expectancy increases — further improving cost efficiency.

By upgrading to the RKS RS rotary blade, printers benefit from:

  • Higher production speeds
  • Greater print consistency
  • Reduced machine vibration
  • Lower downtime
  • Improved overall productivity

Since the blade arrives ready to print and is available for all major machine types, integration into existing production lines is simple and efficient.

RKS RS rotary blades enable constant, reproducible, and standardized rotary screen printing — regardless of design complexity or press speed.

Extensive research and development, conducted in close collaboration with leading machine manufacturers, ensures that the RS blade meets the demanding requirements of:

  • High-End Graphic applications
  • High-End Industrial printing
  • Narrow web rotary screen printing units

To guarantee performance, RKS exclusively uses premium glass fibre supports combined with irremovable, highly resistant Vulkollan® material — specifically engineered for this application.

When print quality, speed, and efficiency matter, RKS Rotary Squeegees Type RS deliver measurable performance advantages.

Order Example

for 10 pieces RKS RS Rotary blades with a height of 35mm, 1,5mm VU thickness, length 365mm, Shore hardness 75° and with a large radius)

10 x RKS RS 35/1,5/75 lg. 365mm GR

Recommendation for Print Design

High ink deposits, braille etc.: (T) = 3.0 mm  / (A) = 55° Shore

Conventional print:               (T) = 2.0 mm / (A) = 65 ° Shore

Fine letter type, and fine lines: (T) = 1,5 mm / (A) = 80° Shore
